Markazul Ma’arif  is a National Level non-profit NGO, having established in the year 1982 with its Head Office at Hojai in the District of Hojai (Assam). It has slowly but steadily been able to reach out to its cherished goal as one of the most prominent and vibrant multi functional NGOs especially in the North East and India as a whole. Over the years, the reputation of the NGO as a trusted social welfare organization has grown in commensurate with the multi-faceted activities, undertaken and have successfully accomplished too. The NGO, Markazul Ma’arif has been well recognized by the people, the Government and other Agencies for its committed services rendered to the society. Among the welfare activities its main thrust is in the field of Education, Agriculture, Care for the Orphans, Relief and Rehabilitation, Health and Hygiene, Capacity building for job oriented initiatives, Promotion of Environment etc. The main focus of the organization is to provide quality service to the needy and also to ensure a developed platform of hope and dignity for our forthcoming generations. Keeping the goal in view, Markazul Ma’arif has established a Job-oriented Capacity Building Avenue in the form of A.R.T.D.C. to ensure decent self-reliant future of our school dropouts and unemployable educated youths, looking for gainful employment. This long standing dream Project is being realized with all-out supports and co-operation of the great philanthropist AJMAL, a global leader in the world of fragrance and a Household name in the Social Service Sector in our country.
